Boy, people sure communicate in funny ways. We rely on email, and voice-mail too much. I have found people don’t always read or answer your emails or voice-mails. I find you actually have to get out of your chair and walk to their office to speak with them face to face. I also found that people don’t like to walk to someone else’s office, especially if it’s in another building 100 yards away. What I have found is that it’s worth it. Take the time to talk to people because it helps meet your objectives and completes or closes the loop with other people. Simple as it sounds, it also provides glue to each of the blocks in Project Management
